Teddy bears are a universally loved child's toy that can even make adults happy.

It was first developed by Morris Mitchum who were toymakers in the U.S. They named this stuffed bear toy after the President, Theodore Roosevelt who was also called Teddy, endearingly.

Most kids are given teddy bears at a young age hence making them a very popular and favorite children's toy. Most teddies are also popularly named Snuggles or Cuddles to go with the fuzzy appearance and huggable nature of the toy. Brands like Joys Toys, Chiltern, Steiff, and the like are considered to be the most expensive brands of teddies that have distinctive features to determine that they are valuable. Teddy bears are valuable when they're soft, new and cuddly!
