The new variant of COVID-19 is called "omicron" that has raised the concern of the WHO due to the evidence that shows the different mutations that it can present and that can influence its behavior.
When a virus spreads widely and causes numerous infections, the chances of mutations occurring are increased. The more a virus can spread, the more opportunities it has to be disrupted.
