Hack or Internal Failure (Facebook, Whatsapp e Instagram).

Hello everyone, if you came to this post it is because you have been concerned about what happened yesterday, October 4, since many things happened with social networks and more than all with the most used ones that are Instagram, WhatsApp and Facebook even other social networks , This topic has been extended a bit and today I want to talk to you about what happened.

caida de las redes sociales.jpg

Yesterday, October 4, as you have noticed, a massive drop occurred in some internet services that affected Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and that later spread to other social networks but all these mainly affected Facebook that lost so much money who dropped a spot on (Mark Zuckerberg) list of the richest man in the world down to number 6 losing 7 billion dollars with just a 6 hour drop.

With the fall of the three big social networks, the memes kept falling on Twitter and of course they began to publish speculations and many lies, some of them quite exaggerated, but there is something that caught my attention is what was published in the account of @anonymous Spanish on Twitter is these.

We have managed to hack the platforms of some social networks such as WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, which we managed to generate losses of money to its partners and all entrepreneurs, money diversions have been generated to people with low resources, through bank transfers. pic.twitter.com/H68kgn2Zi3

If you don't understand Spanish, this user named Anonymous had some spelling mistakes, (Corrected in translation) which gives me to understand that if you don't know how to write this, the less you know how to hack, in addition to saying that (FIW) partners lost millions and funds have been transferred to low-resources people! but this user who has written this message claiming to be Anonymous has not realized that these companies employ millions of people and how money has been diverted to low-resources people, people who really have few resources cannot accept transfer of money because it is a person who is on the street wandering, then this is a fake anonymous.

Speculations and Lies

Another lie about Facebook is that it was the biggest crash in their history. These are FALSE. Facebook's biggest crash lasted a whole day and was in 2008.

More lie, some people have said on Twitter that all these have a relationship with the so-called Pandora Papers about the latest scandals of tax havens that have just been revealed not recently this is also FALSE, the Pandora Papers is a document leak of some millionaires and famous people who have their money in tax havens, what happened has nothing to do with these and also there were more leaks of this type such as the famous "Panama papers" and there were many more but these have nothing to do with what happened.

If all this information is false then what the hell happened!

In the depths of Facebook there are workers who have a mania and also have it on YouTube of (modify here and modify for beech) every so often, play with the algorithms, update here, update for beech, we all know that, In this case, Facebook has updated the border gateway protocol (They have made an update and for some reason they have done it wrong), The BGP allows the exchange of internet routing information and leads people to the websites they want to access choosing the most efficient route to deliver internet traffic.

In conclusion to get straight to the point

What has happened is that someone internally has mistakenly changed the configuration of the main routing that coordinate their network traffic between their data centers, that is what caused Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp to disappear completely from the internet as if there were no existed, leaving everyone in suspense for hours.
