What is Light and What is the meaning of Light Energy?

in Popular STEM3 years ago

One of the origins of life on Earth is light. Human life is based on light. It is merely a medium for humans to comprehend the outside world. Light is an excellent information carrier or transmitter.
According to estimates, the eyes transmit at least 90% of the total information obtained by the human senses from the outside world.

Light is an electric wave that can be seen (received) through the naked eye (visible spectrum). Light is often used to refer to all electromagnetic waves in scientific definitions. Photons are the fundamental particles that make up light. It possesses particle and volatility, which is referred to as wave-particle duality.

In transparent media such as vacuum, air, and water, light can fly. The fastest known speed in the universe is the speed of light in a vacuum, which is defined by the letter c in physics. In a vacuum, light will fly 299792458m in 1 second. In other words, in vacuum, the speed of light is c=2.99792458108m/s.

In other media, the speed is slower than in vacuum. In the air, light travels at a speed of approximately 2.99792000108m/s. The speed of light in vacuum or air is c=3108m/s in our calculations. Water has a much slower speed than vacuum, about 3/4 of the speed of light in vacuum; glass has a much slower speed than vacuum, about 2/3 of the speed of light in vacuum.

A flying man will circle the earth 7.5 times in 1 second if he travels at the speed of light; light from the sun takes 8 minutes to reach the earth, and a 1000km/h race car would take 17 years if it continues to travel at the speed of light. It's time to sprint from the sun to the earth.

Artificial light (such as laser) and natural light are the two types of light (such as sunlight).
Light sources are objects that emit light on their own and are classified into two types: cold light sources and hot light sources.

The human eye is sensitive to visible light of varying wavelengths in different ways. Experiments have shown that normal human eyes are most sensitive to yellow-green light with a wavelength of 555nm (nanometers), which means that radiation of this wavelength can cause the human eye to increase vision, and that the further away from 555nm radiation the lower the sight.

Energy will not vanish or increase; instead, it will be shifted from one location to another, transforming one shape into another. It's simply a different way of being. In terms of light and heat energy, It's just a swarm of particles, like a machine gun projectile. The total effect of thermal motion collisions between molecules in a system is heat. As light strikes the skin, it collides with it, causing the thermal motion of the molecules to accelerate, generating heat energy. Thermal energy is the product of inter molecular thermal motion of particles, and light is a type of particle life.

Photon energy is used by plants to facilitate electron escape from water, break the water into oxygen, and use hydrogen ions to create carbon compounds. It's the same as turning light energy into organic matter and then storing it. The total sum of energy remains constant, but the way in which it is expressed changes.
