Did life originate through a bacteria?

A group of Andalusian scientists affirm that life is original through a bacterium, as well as friends read it, said bacterium bears the name of Planctomycetes and has been studied for 10 years now.

This research is led by the scientist Damien Devos, they affirm that our ancestors are bacteria, and this would become a new ideal for the ovolution of life that is very different from the current concept that is had about it.

From this type of bacteria Planctomycetes derive two called Archea and Eukariota and these have characteristics that are not typical in bacteria.

In conclusion this information causes total confusion, were our ancestors the homosapiens?
or do we come from a bacteria?
We do not know but nothing in this world is hidden forever, the day will come when the true origin of our existence comes to light.
