A few days ago an asteroid was discovered by surprise, 2024 MK is a fairly large asteroid between 120 to 260 m, it was discovered on June 16 and this asteroid passed about 290,000 km away, it passed between the Earth and the Moon, It is a scare because to actually discover an asteroid of this type that can cause a lot of damage, because it has an already respectable size, to discover it with such a small margin.

It has been a warning, a warning to tell us that there are still potentially dangerous asteroids that we have not yet discovered and that some may scare us, but for now at least this one is not going to scare us, it has passed at 290,000 km, we must do the calculations to know what will happen to it in the next 100 or 200 years.

In its passage it has left some images, they are radar images, it is quite irregular from what I see, it looks like a conglomerate, but with quite large blocks.

If it came on the impact route it would have caused very serious damage because it already has a very respectable size, but that is why it is necessary to have all the possible data on the asteroids and have a contingency plan to act against them, it will be another challenge to climb. as a civilization and another point of sara to the extraterrestrials if they are watching us.
