While Starfall's best potential lies in its ability to facilitate more practical microgravity research and in-space manufacturing; its rapid cargo capability naturally leads to speculations regarding defense applications. Without further technical details from SpaceX at this time, it's prudent to regard confirmed goals as distinct from reasonable assumptions regarding the future of Starfall.
