STILL LIFE DRAWING:Are drawing of non-living object, arranged in a specific way, to create meaning or visual effect.

VISUAL ART TEST EXAMINATION:

I was given an object which were four different type of fruits,that was set inside a wavy basket.

When I was about to start,I had no idea of shading a basket which have never done before,it was an examination I had no choice. A quote says "don't be afraid to fail be afraid not to try" then I started drawing, in the process when I took a depper observation on the basket very well suddenly somethings started getting clear to me, well I didn't know then😌 I was just feeling happy till I achieve what I wanted

COMMON STILL LIFE OBJECTS:

Include things like flowers, fruits, vegetables and other foods and beverages.

WHY IS IT CALLED A STILL LIFE DRAWING:Shading or painting a piece of an inanimate objects as it's subject..... The "Still life" is derived from the dutch word stilleven, which gained prominence during the 16th century.

IMPORTANT STEPS THAT I TOOK WHILE DRAWING A STILL LIFE:

. Measure my subject
. Start sketching out the shapes
. Observing the delineate shadow edges
. Model form
. adding of details and finishing.

. Sketchpad sheet
. Graphite pencil 6B and H pencil
. Nataraj eraser
