Acá les entrego mi presentación, humildemente, en éste "Emotivo" Concurso "Carta a una Madre", entendiendo que no solo es Madre de Parto sino todas aquellas mujeres que se han ganado el puesto a fuerza de "Amor" hacía los hijos del mundo. Espero sea de su Agrado.

Here I humbly give you my presentation in this "Emotional" Contest "Letter to a Mother", understanding that she is not only Mother of Childbirth but all those women who have earned the position by dint of "Love" towards the children of the world . I hope you like it.

Carta a una Madre

** Letter to a Mother **

Queridas madres de mi "ALMA", siento que fuí realmente Bendecida porque del segundo amor más grande del mundo (el primero es de Dios, Todopoderoso), mi única hermana y yo, las tuvimos a las Dos; ¿Cuántos han tenido semejante Regalo del Cielo?.

Mujeres de pura fibra, dos luchadoras, rebeldes con causa, con mucho carácter pues en sus vidas no les fué nada fácil, todo lo sudaron hasta el cansancio más severo, de ellas lo que más recuerdo es su trabajo duro y diario pero también su corazón noble, su alma limpia e inquebrantable que nunca le dieron paso a la amargura de sus soledades.

Cómo olvidar su Alegría con cada logro nuestro, sus lágrimas acompañando las nuestras con cada una de las decepciones vividas, sus angustias con cada problema que teníamos, los sustos cuando no llegábamos temprano a casa, sus molestias cuando no éramos obedientes, Cómo olvidar la ternura de sus ojos cansados y agotados, la calidez de sus abrazos y lo tierno de sus caricias en mis mejillas.

Lo que hoy soy como Mujer, como Madre, como Pareja, como Ciudadana de éste "Hermoso" País (VENEZUELA), se lo debo a uds. No hay un día en éste mundo que no pronuncié una frase de su autoría, que no piense en una de sus reflexiones, que no medite en la forma que uds. Enfrentaban los conflictos, que no recuerde lo que predecían en situaciones que no supe manejar y luego la más famosa de sus frases:

What I am today as a Woman, as a Mother, as a Couple, as a Citizen of this "Beautiful" Country (VENEZUELA), I owe it to you. "NO TE QUEDES EN EL PROBLEMA, PIENSA CON CALMA PUES NECESARIO ES SOLUCIONAR".

Madre me haces falta

Mi "Admiración" por uds. Es infinita, no todos los días nacen mujeres que sin haber pisado una "Escuela" en sus vidas, sin un Hombre a su lado, sacarán adelante a sus hijos y de paso lograrán educarlos en casa mejor que nadie, consiguieron Títulos de Educación Secundaria y Técnica a base de muchos sacrificios, de larga y arduas sesiones de trabajo para nosotros y de paso darnos materialmente lo mejor dentro de sus posibilidades.

My "Admiration" for you. It is infinite, not every day women are born who without having stepped on a "School" in their lives, without a Man by their side, will raise their children and in the process will be able to educate them at home better than anyone else, they obtained Secondary Education Qualifications and Technique based on many sacrifices, long and arduous work sessions for us and incidentally give us the best materially within their possibilities.

Me enseñaron a tener todos los "Valores" que se necesitan para vivir en una sociedad, me "Amaron" a más no poder pero siempre tratando de ver cada defecto para corregirlo, con sabiduría y sin hacerme sentir mal. Otra famosa de tantas que se quedaron grabadas es:

They taught me to have all the "Values" that are needed to live in a society, they "loved" me as much as they could but always trying to see each defect to correct it, with wisdom and without making me feel bad. Another famous one of so many that remained recorded is:

"Te equivocaste, eres humana, discúlpate y sigue adelante pues lo único que NO tiene remedio es LA MUERTE"

Creo que las perdí muy pronto pero como me enseñaron a no ser "Egoísta" quizás era el momento correcto para uds. Mi abuela fue la "Madre Cuidadora y del Regazo, murió hace 24 años, Mi madre la que me parió fue la "Madre Proveedora y Peleonera, murió hace 1 año y 2 meses; Sin embargo sigo con la sensación que llegarán en cualquier momento como si nunca se hubieran ido.
Por eso hoy les pido que me PERDONEN, sí en algún momento NO maneje bien la situación o sí perdí el control de la circunstancias.
Nunca tendré como agradecer a nuestro Dios por mis 2 "Madres"; De volver a nacer las volvería a elegir.

I think I lost them very soon but since they taught me not to be "Selfish" maybe it was the right moment for you. My grandmother was the "Caregiver and Lap Mother, she died 24 years ago, My mother the one who gave birth to me was the" Provider and Peleonera Mother, she died 1 year and 2 months ago; However, I still have the feeling that they will arrive at any moment as if they had never left.
That is why today I ask you to FORGIVE me, if at some point I did NOT handle the situation well or if I lost control of the circumstances.
I will never have a way to thank our God for my 2 "Mothers"; If I was born again I would choose them again.
