The Sandwich Model

One day Alfred tried to paint his “The Painter and His Model” (1874), he was busy at his work while the model sat quietly in her chair. Alfred was painting his art the whole day, but his mind was elsewhere. He was not paying attention to the model, who was seated beautifully, waiting for him to complete the masterpiece. But on that particular day, Alfred was thinking about his lunchtime sandwich. He is not usually this kind of person, but he was really hungry that day. Ms. Sophie, his model, kept asking him, "Are you still not finished?"
But Albert was still thinking about his sandwich, and every time Sophie tried to stand up, Alfred responded, "Wait a bit longer! Stay still." Sophie, on the other hand, was unaware of this; she assumed Alfred was working on every detail of his art. Even she didn't realize Alfred wasn't staring at her. He had a dream while painting about adding more cheese and crispy lettuce to his sandwich. Every stroke of the brush applied to the picture automatically, but not as he wished.
Sophie looked over at the picture once it was completed, expecting to see her gorgeous likeness. However, when she looked over at the drawing, she could not stop her laughed. Alfred, the distracted painter, accidentally had painted a huge sandwich instead of her face. It was a funny drawing, with her long flowing gown and sandwich head.
Sophie could not control her laugh, when Alfred recognized what he had done, he felt ashamed. But, without showing that, instead he smiled and said, okay, I will title this as “The Sandwich Model”.
Then they both laughed while gazing at the funny drawing.
