Venezuela Contest/ Week 38/ Merry Christmas/ @pixiepop.
Hola, espero que estés bien.
My best christmas was the one of 2001. We were all little kids and the day before we had received new clothes. We were so excited and could not wait to attend church. We were many as all cousins and other relatives had all gathered in the village. We woke up and got ready to go to church. Church was enjoyable as they played joyous music therefore we danced and sung with happiness.
We went back home and adults had stayed behind to prepare the food for the day. On reaching home the adults went to church and we sat down and had break which was some really well roasted meat. We also did the final touch ups so that when the adults returned they would just serve food. When everyone had returned, food was served and we enjoyed it as it included the staple matooke, meat, chapati etc.
After eating everyone was full to the brim so we lay around lazily. The children were then called to entertain, we went infront of everyone and we danced and sung songs. We got gifts of chocolate for that and we ate with bliss. In the evening we went for a walk and we were laughing while having funny conversations. Truthfully, it was a simple christmas but it was really enjoyable and holds great memories.
