hace muchos años en el tiempo, la diosa de la luna se encontraba en un dilema mental, porque tras fuertes guerras y disputas que habían en el mundo, el hombre estaba perdiendo la fe en el amor ya no se detenía a pensar en su amada y le nublaba la cabeza el olor a sangre tras cada combate la diosa "Luna" no podía hacer llegar su luz al corazón de todos esas personas, así que decidió visitar a la diosa Gaia y rogarle por ayuda para poder apaciguar el corazón de esas almas solitarias a las que no podía alcanzar...

Gaia al ver a la diosa "Luna" en esa situación pensó esta bien te ayudare si demuestra que puedes lograr algo con tu amor para cambiar la situación de la humanidad. Luna, no titubeo y le mostró como con amor podía lograr la paz y en una noche de luna llena, estaba por iniciar un combate entre las 2 partes en disputa y antes de que eso pasara se acerco a cada uno de los generales y los ilumino con todo su amor, tanto así, que los mismos generales en pleno combate vieron a sus amadas en el centro del combate y ordenaron detener todo en ese instante para protegerlas al ver a su enemigo defender con su vida a su amante, entendieron que no eran tan diferentes al final y que podrían tener cosas en común...


Después de ese suceso Gaia no tenia otra alternativa mas que aceptar la petición de Luna a la que le dijo:
acepto que tu poder es sorprendente pero no puedo hacer gran cosa por ti así que decirme que quieres de mi;
A eso Luna respondió crea con mi luz un mensajero, un guía y fiel siervo mio, para que me ayude pues a llevar a esas almas solitarias cada vez mas cerca de la luz...

Gaia escuchando su petición tomo uno solo de sus cabellos y lo coloco en la luz de luna y esa misma noche de todos los lugares del mundo que llego la luz de Luna, salio una luciérnaga, un guía que se encargara de que los seres tristes y moribundos que se encontraban lejos de la luz de Luna, aun lograran encontrar a su amor en la oscuridad.
Y años después los hombres capturaban luciérnagas en frascos para poder guiarse en la oscuridad.
