Photo Contest/Animals and Pets/Week #14

My fellow Steemians, This is in respect to my great love for pets and animals and advocacy of the rights and welfare of animals everywhere. Pets and animals—they are friends, mates, and even relatives. They give us joy and teach us how to be loving, loyal, and compassionate individuals. Their unconditional and unlimited love, they never judge, nor do they ever expect anything from us. They are always present for us giving compassion during sadness and rejoicing with us during happiness. This reflects the simplicity in their joyfulness.

In this contest I am introducing some pictures captures from Kodaikanal, Tamilnadu. So many times I traveled to this place and it was a beautiful place, at there I got a pic of an ape and its belongings.

Regrettably, though, very few creatures enjoy such loving treatment. Some of them are mistreated; others suffer from neglect and abandoned. This is where the animal welfare issue comes in. Just as humans are entitled to enjoy a pain-free and happy life, animals deserve the same. Protect animal rights are more than just avoiding animal cruelty, it is about acknowledging the natural inherent worth of animals among others. It is because they are living beings who do feel pain, and have their own feelings.

Animal welfare and promotion of animal rights is not something for a few, but a duty for everyone. First, we could save animals from shelters or strays instead of getting them from breeders.People should ensure that they treat animals in a kind and gentle way as per their knowledge.

I want to use this photography contest to promote empathy and respect to animals. An image is composed of a thousand words, and through our images, we can make moving tales that evoke transformation in communities.
