Our Help Comes From God

Psalm 121: 1- 8

KJV:I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.
AMP:I will lift up my eyes to the hills [around Jerusalem, to sacred Mount Zion and Mount Moriah]—From whence shall my help come?
2KJV:My help cometh from the Lord, which made heaven and earth.
AMP:My help comes from the Lord, Who made heaven and earth.

This has always been one of my favorite Bible portion.
Yes, knowing my help comes from no other place but from God.
I have no one else to depend on but God.
When everything seems not to be going as planned or according to my plans, I remember that all my help comes from God.
No alternatives, no plan B, if it is not God then one else can make it possible.

3KJV:He will not suffer thy foot to be moved: he that keepeth thee will not slumber.
AMP:He will not allow your foot to slip or to be moved; He Who keeps you will not slumber.
4KJV:Behold, he that keepeth Israel shall neither slumber nor sleep.
AMP:Behold, He who keeps Israel will neither slumber nor sleep.

Everything that is said in this chapter of the scripture is true about God. He never sleeps, he never slumber.
He won't allow your foot to be moved neither would He allow you to slip and fall.

5KJV:The Lord is thy keeper: the Lord is thy shade upon thy right hand.
AMP:The Lord is your keeper; the Lord is your shade on your right hand [the side not carrying a shield].
6KJV:The sun shall not smite thee by day, nor the moon by night.
AMP:The sun shall not smite you by day, nor the moon by night.

His creations won't turn against us. The sun and the moon, the morning and night, God has all in control.
When God is in control, you should have no worries about the things that may or can hurt you.

7KJV:The Lord shall preserve thee from all evil: he shall preserve thy soul.
AMP:The Lord will keep you from all evil; He will keep your life.
8KJV:The Lord shall preserve thy going out and thy coming in from this time forth, and even for evermore.
AMP: The Lord will keep your going out and your coming in from this time forth and forevermore.

And the later verses says that the Lord shall preserve us all from all evil. He will protect our going out and our coming in, so we have nothing to fear.
What are your fears? Your worries? Your troubles and your condition? What trials and tribulations are you facing?
I want to remind you that your help can only come from God and God alone and no one else.
Cast all your cares and burdens unto him for he cares for you.
He can and will calm every storm in your life.
He will make even the impossible possible, just leave it all to him, lay it at his feet.
