FRIENDS IN CRISIS
proverbs 17
17 A friend loves at all times, and is like a brother in time of trouble.
We are usually surrounded by people and in those circles we make what we call friends, who are a great blessing to our lives when a sincere and genuine relationship is built.
In a friendship there must be unconditional support regardless of the situation that is going through, however there are relationships that come to an end when some interest of the other is affected.
The Bible says that at all times, it does not say sometimes yes or sometimes no, it clearly says that at all times loves the friend and is a brother in time of trouble, this means that despite our own interests there must be interest for the welfare of the other.
In these times it is very common for people to end their friendship relationships when the well-being of the other is compromised, they love you until something touches them that compromises them, but this only reveals that there was no true relationship of affection, a true friend It is the one who in difficult times, in times of crisis, in times where you think you can't take it anymore, is there to lift you up, to support you and to tell you that even though you are going through a crisis, God will lift you up and glorify his name.
A friend will never throw you when you are on the edge of the cliff, rather he will extend his hand to save you, what happens is that we live in a society where it is easier to throw, drop, replace than restore.
If today you have a friend who is going through difficult situations, support him, restore him, lift him up, do not forget that tomorrow it may be you who is in that situation and he may be the one whom God uses to lift your life.
