Why aren't you enjoying God's love and that wonderful plan he has for you?

Because sin has opened an abyss between God and man that keeps them separate, even if you look for it through religion, philosophy, good works or any other human form.

This is the second spiritual law: "Man is a sinner and is separated from God; therefore he cannot know or experience God's love and plan for his life."

Romans 3:23 New International Version
23 for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,

Man was created to have fellowship with God, but he acted impulsively and selfishly, introducing sin through disobedience.
Since then he has been marked with a sinful nature that is passed down from generation to generation.

Romans 6:23 New International Version
23 For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in[a] Christ Jesus our Lord.

To the extent that we understand and are clear that there is nothing in us that can make things change, only accept the gift of God that he gives us out of the pure affection of his will, because his love is so great that he decided to forgive us all.

Being aware that we are sinners will give us the impulse to take the next step and thus we will know the truth written in the sacred scriptures.
