Genesis 39:9-12 New International Version
9 No one is greater in this house than I am. My master has withheld nothing from me except you, because you are his wife. How then could I do such a wicked thing and sin against God?” 10 And though she spoke to Joseph day after day, he refused to go to bed with her or even be with her. 11 One day he went into the house to attend to his duties, and none of the household servants was inside. 12 She caught him by his cloak and said, “Come to bed with me!” But he left his cloak in her hand and ran out of the house.

I perceive in the context of José's story a message for me about integrity.

I understand that Jose's life is an example of virtue because of his loyalty, honesty, obedience and stewardship.

In addition, among so many virtues today, Papa highlights the fact that integrity is the trait of Joseph's character that helped him fulfill the principles in his life and especially in the episode of Potiphar's wife.

I understand that in my life I have to develop my character in that sense in order to grow spiritually, beginning today by seeing integrity as an aid in the application of each biblical principle.

Thank you Lord for this teaching.
