THERE IS NO EVIL WITH GOD
JAMES 1:13-15 clears the erroneous assumption that the Lord tests with temptations on His children. The Lord does no evil, so if you are a child of God and are going through temptations, you need to check yourself. We are faced by the Lord promises that He will help us in the time of trial and temptations.
It is the grace of God that saves us from the condemnation of lust, which draw people into several temptations. This is why the word of God encourages us to be sober. A life of extravagant brings traps and temptations. The story of David and Bathsheba is a very good example. Kind David stayed back in his palace when others are at the battle field, so he beheld what he shouldn't have a very beautiful woman bathing.
The Lord isn't forgetful. If like king David, you too have been lured into sin, the Almighty God can forgive you if you confess and repent of your sin. Until you do so, it may appear as if the Lord may have forgotten you, but God have not forgotten you. It could be assumed that the genuine cry of David to the Lord and his self-assessment brought back the reality of the Lord's love to him. He trusted the mercy of the Lord when he repented and he had a good testimony to share.
I can guarantee you that the Almighty God hasn't forgotten you. If you have fallen into sin, God may just be waiting for you to come back to Him. You just have to come in a heart of true repentance and embrace His love, through the Lord Jesus.
