Pursuing Things?
How you begin a year is very vital, because it can tell how that year would be. But more importantly, how the year ends will be determined by the plans and targets you set to achieve and your pursuit of them. Some people begin a year with almost nothing but end the year in a great way; whereas some other people who begin the year with a lot of money have little or nothing to show as an accomplish by the end of it. The question is; why is this so? To do exploit year, you need to understand the actions and factors at play in determining how the year is going to be and one of such actors is God.
At the beginning of every year, most people have different goals and they go about seeking material things. They set material plans and create plans to accomplish them. Thereafter, they start a journey down the line and shun anything that might affect the realisation of their plans, targets and aspirations. Yet, at the end of the year, a lot of of people are still miles apart from the achieving of those goals. Even when they achieve their goals, such people are often still left with a huge void in their soul that nothing else can fill. This is just the result of the Lord being left out of the plan in their pursuit of worldly things.
Naturally, wealth can be very difficult to find. Before putting so much time and energy in chasing after wealth like most people will do this year, please be sure consider what the patriarchs of old said about it. King David said that it is possible to store up riches for users and spenders you don't know. The patriarchs also said it is very risky to put your trust in their wealth you have amassed in the light of the fact that you can be disappointed by them when you least expect it.
The preacher in Proverbs 23:5 all adds that riches can surprisingly grow wings and take flight from the place think you have kept them securely. The big question is; Where do they fly to? They fly back to the original owner which the Almighty God. For these reasons, you must put God first in all your pursuits this year and beyond so that they can be meaningful. If you decide to seek God first, you will get the wealth with very little effort.
