OPERATING UNDER PRESSURE?

One of the strategies of Satan to bring down God's people is to coordinate circumstances that will put them under pressure, and afterward he attacks while they are defenseless.

He does this because he knows that working under tension can bring about costly mistakes. The Bible lets us know we can identify some risks of operating under pressure. One of these is that working under pressure can make an individual associate with an evil deed. For example, for the sake of charitable demonstrations, you may be pressurized to unconsciously hold onto stolen good.

As a minister, the devil can quote scriptures l to you wrongly and along these lines pressurize and frighten you into officiating the marriage of a divorced person to someone else, thereby making you participate in another man's sin.

Another danger of working under pressure is that the scars emanating from errors committed while acting unwisely often leave permanent marks on the casualty's life.

King Saul is a very good example of somebody who let himself fall into the snare of operating under pressure. As the first king of Israel, he was more worried about the opinion of people than God's opinion of him. As opposed to the instructions God gave him concerning the fight against the Amalekites, he speared not only the king but also the fatted cows and sheep. He took the riches of a fight he didn't really fight.

Some ministers of God have as well fallen into this snare today. After they have been used by God to perform special tasks, they pursue monetary satisfaction as Gehazi did.

Have your parents or society took you under some sort of pressure to marry? Be very careful so that you do not regret your steps later. I have this word for somebody today: God will make everything delightful for you in His own propose time.

At God's own appointed time, your long awaiting partner will emerge from the throne of grace and you will have a home that can be likened to heaven on the earth.

Is it employment that you are looking for and the employer want you can go out with him before you can get the job? Deny such advances! Try not to let the pressure of joblessness drag you into prostitution or drug trafficking. Is your parent-in-law saying you should come to the village to offer sacrifice to some so-called ancestral spirits so you can have your child? You must not listen to such pressures. Let the scriptures guide you. Refuse to find an alternative to the only living God.
