A giver is a fellow who gives liberally to poor people and the needy in obedience to what is written in the word of God. A giver makes it a state of obligation to pay their first fruit, gives contributions, and makes other essential monetary commitments to their local church.
Meanwhile, Father Christmas is a term utilized in some parlance to depict a lavish high-roller: one who unnecessarily spends a huge amount of cash that the person in question can't afford. A Father Christmas is regularly exemplified by exaggerated, unreasonable, or extreme conduct and wastefulness which might bring about personal harm. Blessings are like talents that was been given to us by God. He has called us to be a giver and wise people of His interests in us. God frowns at any type of wasteful or extravagant lifestyle in His children.
The word of God directs our focus towards the right sort of charitable nature and generosity of spirit, which shows love and worship towards God by showing concern for poor people and the needy in our society.
The Bible provides us with dome instances of sinful wasteful lifestyle or extravagance. A good example is found in Luke 15:11-16, where the prodigal child assembled all his inheritance and left for a far country where he squandered all he had through excessive spending. In Philippians 3:19, the Holy Spirit advises us that the people who mind worldly things, whose god is their belly, will wind up in destruction. Proverb 6:26 further lets us know that the people who spend their hard-earn money on prostitutes and cheap young ladies will ultimately become reduced to the worth of a piece of bread.
Extravagant or lavish spending often leads to poverty. This is what befallen the prodigal son. After he had wasted all his money, he needed to take up enjoyment in the awful sort of job to survive. Extravagant and wasteful spending is not a viable replacement for doing what God expects of you.
Most assuredly, God is more intrigued by Christians who are determined to do their best to meet God's prerequisite of holiness and godly living. The excessive expenditure of an unrepentant sinner in the house of God is, best case scenario, considered to be an attempt to bribe God, and this is an abomination to Him.
