DIVINE HEALTH 1

"AND THE LORD WILL TAKE AWAY FROM YOU ALL SICKNESS, AND WILL AFFLICT YOU WITH NONE OF THE TERRIBLE DISEASES OF EGYPT which you have known, but will lay them on all those who hate you."
Deuteronomy 7:15 (NKJV)

25 “SO you shall serve the LORD your God, and He will bless your bread and your water. AND I [God] WILL TAKE SICKNESS AWAY FROM THE MIDST OF YOU.
26 NO ONE SHALL SUFFER MISCARRIAGE or BE BARREN in your land; I WILL FULFILL THE NUMBER OF YOUR DAYS."
Exodus 23:25,26 (NKJV)

• Divine health is real and it is the covenant right of those who are Believers in Christ Jesus—the children of God.

• Healing is children's bread (Matthew 25:26-28). God wanted those who are His to be healed from all sicknesses. Not only to be healed from sicknesses and diseases, but to live in health—not to suffer sicknesses at all.
• We have a covenant root for divine health and long life, through Jesus Christ. Thus, sound health is important, and it is for those who are God's.

• The covenant made with Abraham.

• The benefits of the Kingdom, the covenant made with Abraham, can be accessed through faith in Christ Jesus (Galatians 3:13,14; Ephesians 2:12,13).
• God did promise Abraham long life and peace (Genesis 15:15). And He brought the promise to the fulfillment (Genesis 25:7,8).
• The covenant also was extended to Isaac (Genesis 35:28,29). And subsequently, It was extended to Jacob (Genesis 47:28).
• Through Jesus Christ, the Believers are connected. Those who put their faith in Christ Jesus, in His substitutionary death and resurrection, are connected with the covenant made with Abraham (Galatians 3:13,14).

• A Sickness or disease is a Curse!

• The curses of the law are mainly; sicknesses, poverty, and spiritual death.
• Believers had a covenant root in Abraham and are linked or become a part of the Abrahamic covenant; who is the "father of all" those who have faith, circumcised or uncircumcised, through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ (Romans 4:9,11-12, 16; Galatians 3:14,26-29).
• Healing and divine heath are part of the redemptive Right of the believers in Christ Jesus (1 Peter 2:24).
• Having established that divine health is a covenant right of believers in Christ Jesus, you need to know that you have a responsibility to appropriate it through your faith.
• To walk in divine health, you would have to live in line with the Word of God. You cannot continue in Sin and want the Grace of God to abound or increase—certainly not (Romans 6:1,2).
• Sin is the root cause of all curses. Since sicknesses and diseases are products of the Curse of the Law. You would have to do away with Sin for you to live in divine health.

• We could deduced that a number of those who were healed in the earthly Ministry of Jesus Christ had Sin as the cause or reason for their sicknesses and diseases. An example is the man with infirmity who had been at the pool of Bethesda for thirty-eight years:
8 JESUS SAID TO HIM, “RISE, TAKE UP YOUR BED AND WALK.” 14 AFTERWARDS JESUS FOUND HIM IN THE TEMPLE, AND SAID TO HIM, “SEE, YOU HAVE BEEN MADE WELL. SIN NO MORE, LEST A WORSE THING COME UPON YOU” (John 5:8,14 (NKJV).

• Someone who is fooling around; commiting immorality, would not be trusting God to live in a divine health. If he or she did, It would be a mirage.
• If you lived in hatred and bitterness, you cannot walk in divine health. When you lived contrary to the Word of God, you give the devil an access or an opportunity to have a hold on your life (Ephesians 4:27).
• When you violated God's principles, the devil would want to hold it against you. The devil, being the accuser of the believers (Revelation 12:10), is waiting and watching for your mistakes, to take an advantage of it and afflict you:
  "BE SOBER [well balanced and self-disciplined], BE ALERT AND CAUTIOUS AT ALL TIMES. THAT ENEMY OF YOURS, THE DEVIL, PROWLS AROUND LIKE A ROARING LION [fiercely hungry], SEEKING SOMEONE TO DEVOUR" (1 Peter 5:8 Amps).
  • You will not fail in Jesus' name.
• If there is any ailment in your body, I declare your healing now in Jesus' name.
• The healing power of God is released to you now, be healed in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
