A FRUITFUL MINISTRY 3
"YOU did not choose Me, but I CHOSE you and APPOINTED you that you should GO AND BEAR FRUIT, And that your FRUIT SHOULD REMAIN, that whatever you ask the Father in My name He may give you."
John 15:16 (NKJV)
• The truth is, you, as a minister, had the responsibility to always seek the face of God; to know His mind, about the work given to you, and to know the steps to be taken per time.
- When an instruction is given to you by God, you do not subject It to discussions or deliberations, before you carry it out.
- Note:
a. In receiving an instruction from God, you must be painstaking, be disciplined to stay with Him, in order to know the actual thing He had or wanted to say.
THIS is when you would want to Acknowledge Him; want to know His Will on All you wanted to do.
b. You do not Rush into the presence of God, and Rush out; thinking that you would receive anything tangible like clear direction—about the way to go or what to do. Not at all.
c. There should be a communion between God and you, in which your attention is easily gotten by Him, any Time—whenever there is a message or an information which might be needed to pass across to you.
d. You must not be busy to the point that you do not have the Time to hear from God.
e. Your foremost assignment as a minister is to seek His face, and always be willing to hear or receive whatever He wanted to say, or whatever next to be done.
f. You should learn and cultivate the habit of hearing God everywhere; in all situations, or circumstances, and through the events or things that may be happening around you (Jeremiah 18:1,2).
YOU should be able to hear Him, while driving, or at work, whilst in the washroom, or At the market place—even In the midst of any rowdiness:
1 THE WORD WHICH CAME TO JEREMIAH FROM THE LORD, SAYING: 2 “ARISE AND GO DOWN TO THE POTTER'S HOUSE, AND THERE I WILL CAUSE YOU TO HEAR MY WORDS" (Jeremiah 18:1,2 NKJV).
g. God uses circumstances; events and things happening around, to speak to those who are His; those who are keen and sensitive, who wanted to know, or desired to hear from Him.
• Getting to know the geographical location of where to do the work, the people you are assigned, and the message, or the emphasis, or the subject of the Bible to preach or teach are very Important (Acts 22:17-21; Galatians 2:7-9).
(i) If you try to operate where you were not assigned to work, or you were not sent, your work would not be received, and you might be confronted with stiff oppositions (Acts 22:17-21).
(ii) The people you are not assigned. This is when you are ministering to a wrong group of people; such would not receive your words and would not be part of what you do or support the work or the ministry. This would definitely lead to lack of labourers for the work—the harvest of souls.
(iii) Your message is about your conviction which should be your emphasis. Some people's emphasis is on the subject of Holiness, some on the teaching of Faith, some on Prosperity, while some others are on Prayers, Healings, and whatever.
THIS is usually happened as a result of your encounters, supernatural phenomena; what you had passed through or experienced in your walking with God.
THIS, would be your MESSAGE, or EMPHASIS, and it would determine the crowd of people that would be attracted to you and your Ministry.
- All these preceded fruitfulness or Increase in the Ministry work.
- Know that God would not finance an Assignment or a journey which He has not sent you.
• The Increase or the explosion comes when you are faithful and obedient, in the work or assignment given you by God.
- When God instructed you to move from one place to another, you need to get it clearly, be sure of what you have received or heard, before you move.
- At times, you might think you have received or heard from God, to launch out and do a particular thing, while you had not, you only heard yourself.
- At times, when you lack resources, money, and non-availability of Men or labourers, and some other intricacies or complexities; It could be a way which God has chosen to communicate His Will or Mind to you, telling you that It is yet Time, not the right Time, for the thing you wanted to do or embark on (Numbers 9:18-23).
- In some instances, some of the visions or the instructions claimed to have been received from God, are not meant to be pursued immediately or At that moment, but for the time to come—the future.
- And some visions which you claimed you had received from God, are the wishes of your heart, thinking they were visions or instructions from God (Acts 16:6,7).
- That being said, It does not mean that you are out of God's Will whenever you have a challenge—one problem or another. The fact that what you are doing was instructed by God did not mean there would be no oppositions or challenges.
- Every vision, or a bid to do God's Will, or an obedience to the instruction given by God; would attract opposition, challenges and obstacles, but you will overcome If you were genuinely sent by God.
- Apostle Paul and his team were divinely led to Macedonia, but they were arrested and jailed after an exploit in the ministry work. When a demon was driven out of a girl with the spirit of divination (Acts 16:16-24).
• You will not miss it in Jesus' name.
- Whatever is contrary to your health is rebuked in Jesus' name.
- You shall live in perfect health all the days of your life in Jesus' name.
Peace!

STEPS TO SALVATION
• Take notice of this:
IF you are yet to take the step of salvation, that is, yet to be born-again, do it now, tomorrow might be too late (2 Corinthians 6:1,2; Hebrews 3:7,8,15).
a. Acknowledge that you are a sinner and confess your Sins (1 John 1:9); And ask Jesus Christ to come into your life (Revelation 3:20).
b. Confess that you believe in your heart that Jesus Christ is Lord, and that you confess it with your mouth, Thus, you accept Him As your Lord and Saviour (Romans 10:9,10).
c. Ask that He will write your name in the Book of Life (Philippians 4:3; Revelation 3:8).
- If you took the steps As highlighted above, It means you are saved—born-again. Join a Word based church in your area and Town or city, and be part of whatever they are doing there. Peace!
