THE HOLY SPIRIT: BELIEVERS' SENIOR PARTNER

28 “AND IT SHALL COME TO PASS AFTERWARD THAT I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT ON ALL FLESH; Your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, Your old men shall dream dreams, Your young men shall see visions.
29 And also on My menservants and on My maidservants I WILL POUR OUT MY SPIRIT IN THOSE DAYS."

• In the church of Jesus Christ presently on earth, we are at the era of the Holy Spirit.

• The above Bible passage came into FULFILMENT on the Day of Pentecost (Acts 2:1-4).
  THE HOLY SPIRIT has come to dwell on the inside of those who ACCEPTED Christ Jesus as their Lord and Saviour.
  THE HOLY SPIRIT has been around since Then, He is the One in-charge of the church of Jesus Christ on earth presently.
• A number of those who claimed they are Believers are yet to receive the fullness of the Holy Spirit in their lives.
  AND SOME who claimed they have received the Holy Spirit, do not acknowledge Him as their SENIOR Partner.
• When you received the baptism of the Holy Spirit, the major evidence of IT is the speaking in the language of the Spirit of God—new tongues (Acts 2:4; 10:46; 19:6).
  "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; THEY WILL SPEAK WITH NEW TONGUES" (Mark 16:17).
• Many having received the baptism of the Holy Spirit with the evidence of New tongues, could not go beyond that, and have not experienced the full benefits of having the Holy Spirit on the inside of them.

• Holy Spirit is the Spirit of wisdom and power: "The Spirit of the LORD shall rest upon Him,
THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM and understanding, THE SPIRIT OF counsel AND MIGHT [power], The Spirit of knowledge and of the fear of the Lord" (Isaiah 11:2).

• The Holy Spirit on the inside of Believers is to help us and be our guide in this world of darkness (John 14:16,17,26; 16:13).
  IF you walked in close communion with the Holy Spirit, He will reveal things to you, give you thoughts on what to do about the issues of Life (1 Corinthians 2:9-12).
  IT would be difficult for you to discover purpose without the help of the Holy Spirit.
  HE will reveal to you, the plans and the programmes of God for your Life.

• Also the Holy Spirit gives visions and dreams:
9 But as it is written: “Eye has not seen, nor ear heard, NOR HAVE ENTERED INTO THE HEART OF MAN THE THINGS WHICH GOD HAS PREPARED FOR THOSE WHO LOVE HIM.”
10 BUT GOD HAS REVEALED THEM TO US THROUGH HIS SPIRIT. For the Spirit searches all things, yes, the deep things of God.
11 For what man knows the things of a man except the spirit of the man which is in him? EVEN SO NO ONE KNOWS THE THINGS OF GOD EXCEPT THE SPIRIT OF GOD.
12 Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the Spirit who is from God, THAT WE MIGHT KNOW THE THINGS THAT HAVE BEEN FREELY GIVEN TO US BY GOD."
1 Corinthians 2:9-12 (NKJV)

• Some of the attributes and the Ministry of the Holy Spirit mentioned in the Scriptures are: HE will guide into all truth; REMINDS you of things taught; REVEALS things to come; And EMPOWERED you to walk in the miraculous, that is, signs will follow you (John 14:26; 16:13; Mark 16:17,18).
  THE advent of the Holy Spirit helps Believers assumed their sonship.

• The Helper—Comforter (John 16:7).

• Living a victorious Christian life is by the help of the Holy Spirit.
  TO CONQUER the flesh is by the help of the Holy Spirit: "I say then: WALK IN THE SPIRIT, AND YOU SHALL NOT FULFIL THE LUST OF THE FLESH" (Galatians 5:16).
• Some Believers are still struggling with one sin or another.
  YOU do not need to be in that state if you do allow the Holy Spirit to help you.
  YOU rule over the flesh if you walked in close communion with the Holy Spirit.

• Holy Spirit also gives gifts.

• The gifts given by the Holy Spirit to Believers are Nine in number, and they are given for the profit of the body of CHRIST: "BUT THE MANIFESTATION OF THE SPIRIT IS GIVEN TO EACH ONE FOR THE PROFIT OF ALL [the church of Jesus Christ]" (1 Corinthians 12:7).
• Christians supposed to be the LIGHT of the world: "YOU ARE THE LIGHT OF THE WORLD. A city that is set on a hill cannot be hidden" (Matthew 5:14).
  BUT Believers ARE not taking over where they work, live, AND the society at large.
  DARKNESS recedes when the light comes, but reverse is the case, Believers are afraid of darkness because they do not know who they are in Christ.

"YOU ARE OF GOD, little children, and have overcome them, BECAUSE HE WHO IS IN YOU IS GREATER THAN HE WHO IS IN THE WORLD."
1 John 4:4 (NKJV)

• We are to occupy till He comes: "And he called his ten servants, and delivered them ten pounds, and said unto them, OCCUPY TILL I COME" (Luke 19:13).

• The end time church of the Lord Jesus Christ is a Triumphant Church.
  THE Triumphant Church rules and dominates.
  JESUS made an open show of the devil and his cohorts, He triumphed over them.

14 "Blotting out the handwriting of ordinances that was against us, which was contrary to us, and took it out of the way, nailing it to his cross;
15 AND HAVING SPOILED PRINCIPALITIES AND POWERS, HE MADE A SHEW OF THEM OPENLY, TRIUMPHING OVER THEM IN IT."
Colossians 2:14,15 (KJV)

• Jesus triumphed over the devil and all the powers of darkness.
  YOU must know your inheritance in Christ Jesus: "the eyes of your understanding being enlightened; that you may know what is the hope of His calling, WHAT ARE THE RICHES OF THE GLORY OF HIS INHERITANCE IN THE SAINTS" (Ephesians 1:18).
  YOU are not to be intimidated by the devil and his agents, but RATHER you are to terrify them.
  IF you are born-again you have the Holy Spirit on the inside of YOU, walk in close communion with Him in prayer and take over and rule and dominate.

• You will not fail in Jesus' name.
