The faith

The bible show us in Romans 4:3: “For what does the Scripture say? ‘Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."
Abraham's faith in God was tested in a way that most of us will never know although it was impossible Abraham believed the promise of God and Sarah gave birth to a baby, and they named their son Isaac.
Nothing is too hard for God. Nothing is impossible for God. That is an example for all of us today, that our faith should be strong in God.

Abraham was tested a second time, and this was a more difficult test. In Genesis 22:2: "Then God said, “Take your son, your only son, whom you love—Isaac—and go to the region of Moriah. Sacrifice him there as a burnt offering on a mountain I will show you.”

Does it sound crazy to think that God could ask you to give your only son? Nothing of this made sense, God seemed to contradict himself. The most surprising thing was the level of faith and obedience of Abraham who did not complain at any time. We can imagine that he must have been tempted to have doubts when setting out on the road to Mount Moriah. Thoughts like: "I will be a murderer".

Of course, God kept His promise. At the last second, he prevented Abraham from sacrificing Isaac. The incident with Isaac reveals more clearly than any other the maturity of Abraham's faith
In the same way, we might be tempted to think of doubt when we take a step of faith that God is working in us for us to do. When we have the shield of faith, we can also resist the thoughts of doubt.

Don't let your confidence depend on what your reasoning tells you. God can completely save you! There is no limit to what we can reach through faith in God, we just have to believe.
