Ser llamado por el señor a servir en algún ministerio dentro del reino, en la iglesia y la comunidad trae consigo desafíos que debemos asumir o enfrentar, algunos dicen que es el precio que debemos pagar al ser llamados a servir en cualquier área o ministerio dentro de la obra de Dios.

Entendiendo cada desafío como un llamado a la acción, a hacer algo, enfrentar obstáculos o dificultades que se interponen entre nuestro ministerio, que hacen difícil la tarea que debemos realizar, o simplemente se trata de áreas de nuestra vida que debemos corregir, costumbres que abandonar o lecciones que aprender.

Hoy comparto con ustedes algunos de los desafíos que vienen con el ministerio.

Llamado a dejarlo todo por Cristo.

Marcos 10:17-22 Al salir él para seguir su camino, vino uno corriendo, e hincando la rodilla delante de él, le preguntó: Maestro bueno, ¿qué haré para heredar la vida eterna? Jesús le dijo: ¿Por qué me llamas bueno? Ninguno hay bueno, sino sólo uno, Dios. Los mandamientos sabes: No adulteres. No mates. No hurtes. No digas falso testimonio. No defraudes. Honra a tu padre y a tu madre. El entonces, respondiendo, le dijo: Maestro, todo esto lo he guardado desde mi juventud. Entonces Jesús, mirándole, le amó, y le dijo: Una cosa te falta: anda, vende todo lo que tienes, y dalo a los pobres, y tendrás tesoro en el cielo; y ven, sígueme, tomando tu cruz. Pero él, afligido por esta palabra, se fue triste, porque tenía muchas posesiones.

Muchos no están dispuestos a aceptar el llamado a servir debido a temores de despojarse, perder comodidades, bienes materiales o simplemente a dejar la vida que llevan pos someterse a Jesús y darle el primer lugar en su vida, no entendiendo que cuando asumimos el llamado a servir bajo el señorío de Cristo, recibimos la garantía de la provisión y el cuidado divino.

Marcos 10:29-30 Respondió Jesús y dijo: De cierto os digo que no hay ninguno que haya dejado casa, o hermanos, o hermanas, o padre, o madre, o mujer, o hijos, o tierras, por causa de mí y del evangelio, que no reciba cien veces más ahora en este tiempo; casas, hermanos, hermanas, madres, hijos, y tierras, con persecuciones; y en el siglo venidero la vida eterna.

El señor te llama a servir en su obra, a servir a las personas, esperando que te comprometas a aceptar que él es tu señor, el espera tener el primer lugar en tu vida, el quiere dirigir tu vida, señorear, gobernar; sométete a su reino y nada de lo que entregues por dedicar tu vida al servicio de Dios lo perderás, más bien tendrás la garantía, según sus promesas de obtener mucho más de lo que dejas.

Called to leave everything for Christ.

Mark 10:17-22 As he went out to go on his way, someone came running, and kneeling before him, asked him: Good Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? Jesus said to him: Why do you call me good? There is none good, but only one, God. You know the commandments: Do not commit adultery. Do not kill. Don't steal. Do not give false testimony. Do not disappoint. Honor your father and your mother. He then, answering, said to him: Master, all this I have kept from my youth. Then Jesus, looking at him, loved him, and said to him: One thing you lack: go, sell everything you have, and give it to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me, taking up your cross. But he, afflicted by this word, went away sad, because he had many possessions.

Many are not willing to accept the call to serve due to fears of dispossessing themselves, losing comforts, material goods or simply leaving the life they lead after submitting to Jesus and giving him the first place in their lives, not understanding that when we assume the call To serve under the lordship of Christ, we receive the guarantee of divine provision and care.

Mark 10:29-30 Jesus answered and said, Truly I say to you, there is no one who has left house, or brothers, or sisters, or father, or mother, or wife, or children, or land, because of me and of the gospel, that he does not receive a hundred times more now in this time; houses, brothers, sisters, mothers, children, and lands, with persecutions; and in the age to come eternal life.

The Lord calls you to serve in his work, to serve people, waiting for you to commit to accept that he is your Lord, he hopes to have the first place in your life, he wants to direct your life, rule, govern; submit to his kingdom and you will lose nothing that you give to dedicate your life to the service of God, rather you will have the guarantee, according to his promises, to obtain much more than what you leave.
