Sing praises to the Lord

One of the ways you can activate the power of God is by worship. Throughout the Bible verses, we find inspiring stories of how God saved His people from evil and dire situations when they activated the power of God in praise and worship. An instance is when three nations (Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir) came united against Judah. By the wisdom of God, King Jehoshaphat called all Judah to call on the Lord in prayer and fasting. When they prayed, God showed them the exact location of the foes’ camp, and He gave them the generalship they can use to defeat them.

In 2 Chronicles 20:22, it's written that“...when they started singing and to praising, the LORD set ambushments against the children of Ammon, Moab, and mount Seir that come against Judah; and they were irrationally enthusiastic.” When you face any daunting challenges, don’t be afraid or fret; instead, worship the Lord. Like king Jehoshaphat, have a “praise party!” Don’t wait until you feel like singing before you start making melodies inside your heart, sing praises unto the Lord. Whether you are glad or not, praise Him all the same; worship Him and give Him glory.

1 Thessalonians 5:18 says, “In all things, give thanks: This God's will in Christ Jesus concerning you.” Remember Apostle Paul and Silas; for preaching the Gospel, in a Roman prison they were tortured and incarcerated. But all midnights, they prayed and sang praises to God; and as they did that, the power of God was activated and they were set free supernaturally (Acts 16:25-26). This miraculous occasions led to the salvation of the prison warden with all His family.
