Poetry: Hopeless words
Hopeless words
Hopeless words softly spoken
From the lips of a spirit broken
Making do in love turned war
Where Living life is its own chore
A trickle of blood shows it's land
Taking strife from an unjust hand
Tears cower behind blacked eyes
Wrapped in fear and countless whys
Weary hands crack the eggs
Humpty Dumpty on weakened legs
A fateful scramble instead of fried
Plays out with wrist tightly tied
Love sees hurt more and more
Proof lay dead on kitchen floor
The final breath of one in need
Another Victim of life's bad seed.
From the lips of a spirit broken
Making do in love turned war
Where Living life is its own chore
A trickle of blood shows it's land
Taking strife from an unjust hand
Tears cower behind blacked eyes
Wrapped in fear and countless whys
Weary hands crack the eggs
Humpty Dumpty on weakened legs
A fateful scramble instead of fried
Plays out with wrist tightly tied
Love sees hurt more and more
Proof lay dead on kitchen floor
The final breath of one in need
Another Victim of life's bad seed.
nice and intriguing poem. a state of hopelessness is a state of helplessness.
