God's promise for his children

God has a lot of promise that he has made for his children.

Psalms 34 vs.10

The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing. - KJV

No matter how bad things turn out to be for people. No matter how famine may eat up the land, those that seek the Lord shall not lack anything good. This is the promise of God for his children. It is expected of us to trust in the Lord in all situations and he shall direct our path.

Another promise of God can be found in the book of psalms chapter 84 verse 11

For the LORD God is a sun and shield; the LORD bestows favor and honor; no good thing does he withhold from those whose walk is blameless.- NIV

This part of the bible made us to understand that favour and honor is with the Lord God and he gives it to whom he desire. The later part of that verse made us realise that those who walk with the Lord without blemish, without stain, holy people, upright people shall not lack good things from the Lord.

Looking at the two bible verses we read, it is clearer that God is ready to do anything for us as his children but he expect some things from us as well. Some things like being upright, blameless, serving him and so on. It now depend on us if we want those promises to be manifested or not.
