Yeah! Is a big questions to ask yourself tonight if you are God's enemy or friend. If you can answer this question then you will know your stand as a believer.
Lovers of the world are enemies to God,you covet things that are not yours, you love your own life more than God, you hate righteousness, you love sin,you love earthly pleasures. When you see yourself doing all this things you make yourself God's enemy.
James 4:4 says:
You [are like] unfaithful wives [having illicit love affairs with the world and breaking your marriage vow to God]! Do you not know that being the world’s friend is being God’s enemy? So whoever chooses to be a friend of the world takes his stand as an enemy of God.(Amplified Bible)
When all you think of in this world is worldly pleasures: lust of the flesh, lust of the eyes and the the pride of life then you have distinguish yourself to be an enemy of God. Remember darkness has nothing to do with light so when you start associating with darkness you take yourself out from God's glory.
Remember any person who love the world and the things that are in the world does not love God, and such a person is an enemy of God.
1 John 2:15 (Living Bible)
Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
Don't be God's enemy rather choose to be a friend of God. God loves His children and has prepared a place for them in eternity but all God's enemy will be doom in damnation at the end. Choose wisely.
