Why do we find it difficult to pray?
Watch and pray, lest ye enter into temptation: the spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak.
Matthew 26:41

Beloved, I think that all of us at some point have found it difficult to pray, to have that moment to be in communion with God, and there are situations that sometimes lead us to neglect prayer.
Among them we have:
1.-Because our flesh is weak, we let ourselves be dragged by the desires of the flesh, we are not provoked to get up early to pray, we do not take time to pray but we prefer to watch television, eat, be with the phone and spend hours and hours on that but we do not dedicate time to prayer.
2-Because there are spiritual forces against us. Ephesians 6:12, remember that there is one who always walks like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour, the enemy gets upset when he sees that we seek God, then he distracts us because he recognizes the power that is in prayer.
3-Because we feel that our relationship with God is broken because we have failed, God never abandons us and is always there to listen to us and forgive us, remember that he is our Father.

Prayer is not for the perfect, it is a healing tool for those who are sick, downcast, for those who feel alone.
4-Because we have unresolved situations with other people, because we fight with a brother, we have family problems, we are uncomfortable with situations in the congregation, because we see the mistakes of others and we do not learn to forgive.
What we must do to lead a life of prayer:
- Discipline the flesh and teach it to delight in God.
- Take authority over all oppression of the enemy.
- Learn to forgive, not to judge others.
- Pray without ceasing.
