• Ignorance is a malady. You must conquer it with the instrument of knowledge! A wise man is only as strong as the clutch of knowledge and perquisite information he wields. This increased strength is what shows him up a star to the world at his manifestation!
Peniel, as a place of reformation, is where faulty and dubious destinies are completely knocked down, remoulded, rewired, redirected and reprojected. At the transformative grounds of Peniel, potential and creative aptitudes are loosed by the authority and supremacy of revelation; blighted lives are constructively disentangled from the shackles of non-performance, freed from the fetters of incomplete fulfillment, and set on a fresh course to accomplish destiny.
If the seeker so desires, Peniel could become a place of baggage shedding because without this jettisoning of encumbering excesses, potential becomes blighted. Thereafter, potential-releasing revelation would not break forth. As Jacob wrestled an angel at Peniel, he received the revelation that he should shed the baggage of a burdensome name.
And Jacob was left alone; and there wrestled a man with him until the breaking of the day. And when he saw that he prevailed not against him, he touched the hollow of his thigh; and the hollow of Jacob’s Thigh was out of joint, as he wrestled with him. And he said, I will not Let thee go, except thou bless me. And he said, Let me go, for the day breaketh. And he said unto him, What is thy name? And he said, Jacob. And he said, Thy name shall be called no more Jacob, but Israel: for as a prince hast thou power with God and with men, and hast prevailed. Genesis 32:24-28

Man of God, get quickly to penile for the wrestling encounter. And you must prevail over that weakness and over that spiritual burden, whatever it might be. And you must prevail for you to become a prince with power with God and men. The contest must not end in a stalemate; this is not acceptable. Nothing short of outright victory is desirable.
Peniel remains a place of reorientation, a place of destiny transformation where a Jacob learned the burden his name was. At peniel, a desperate angel appraised and x-rayed as the bane of his life (his limiting factor as it were) even though Jacob had all the time had within, the potential to be a prince with God. Jacob hitherto had languished in a zone of underperformance until the moment of corrective revelation. But the mercy of God availed Jacob liberation from the shackles of a limiting name.
Peniel is good for a dose of disclosure about every restrictive constraint. It may be your name that needs be expunged or your perspective overhauled or your former plan reworked. It may be your lifestyle that needs to be re-engineered to wholesomeness or your parochial perspectives, which need expansion, to include the vastness of possibilities with the Lord. Whatever trait requires modification, the Lord would reveal in order for suitable remedial steps to be effected, to transform a once blemished character from a finagling schemer to a prince who had power with God and with men; from an underachieving usurper to a sturdy sensation; from a languishing spectator, whose life is spinning out of control, to a canny trendsetter, who is in calm control. You MUST obtain the same spiritual refitting as Jacob, if you must get on the path of maximum potential utilization. After Peniel, you will be elevated to become a prince with men and God! Hallelujah!
