FULL SEPARATION IS A REQUIREMENT FOR THE CALLING OF GOD.

If you seek fulfillment in the calling you have received of God, your full separation unto God has to be in place. Many seek to follow to the point of fulfillment with all manner of appendages; how does such work in the light of Acts 13:2?

While they were worshiping the Lord and fasting, the Holy Spirit said, “Set apart for me Barnabas and Saul for the work to which I have called them.”(ESV)

Full separation is a requirement you cannot compromise, if you seek true fulfillment in the calling wherewith you have been called. If in contemporary issues of life, separation remains a requirement for success, much more issues that border on God’s hand upon your life and the eternity of your soul.

You can’t make a success of your matrimony, as long as you are still hooked in one way or the other, unto your ex-boyfriend or girlfriend. Your matrimonial vow to your spouse includes – “forsaking all others and cleaving only to you as long as we both shall live”. If for one reason or the other, you find separation as an impossible task to execute, you are sure to make a shipwreck of your matrimony. Separation is a key to success any day.

Hear what the Holy Ghost said in the book of Acts 13:2 – “separate Me Barnabas and Saul for the work whereunto I have called them”. There is a work you cannot do with God or execute for God until your separation unto Him is in place. There are habits you must drop, there are associations you must do away with and relationships you must break; if you truly seek to finish your course with the Lord.

Paul’s life in heeding to the voice of the Holy Ghost was one of separation; hence, he could proclaim at the tail end of his work – “I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith”2 Timothy 4:7.

• You will fail in your life’s course, if you toy with the separation God’s Word demands from you.

Scripture affirm – “Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you and will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be My sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty” 2 Corinthians 6:17:18.

In an age when the church is becoming worldly; God’s call for separation resounds. If you insist on friendship with the world at the expense of your relationship with God and the calling wherewith He has called you; you will stand out as an enemy of God.
