Generosity

Hebrews 13:16 Do not forget or neglect to do kindness and good, to be generous and distribute and contribute to the needy [of the church as embodiment and proof of fellowship], for such sacrifices are pleasing to God

They are so many benefits attached to being nice or kind. Sadly, so many believers have not come to this knowledge. A lot of people who claims to be Christian, on normal circumstances refused to be of help to a fellow humans. although the Bible kick against laziness, it wouldn't be wrong if you give some form of financial assistance to those in need. Paul the apostle advice believers to be gainfully engaged so they should not just be materially sufficient, but also have excess in order to give to the needy.

As a believer, it is wrong to be in a position you can help someone and you refused. Giving is living and it is better to give than to receive. The Bible says there's he that scattereth but increaseth and he that withholded but get poorer
Your kindness should go beyond giving to the needy or poor. Your generosity should also be seen in your personal relationship with others, relatives, neighborhood and business associates. If you are generous in showing mercy to fellow men,you will always enjoy mercy from people that may not necessarily be the same people you favoured.

Note the world of a giver gets larger and larger,but the world of the stingy gets smaller and smaller Your generosity to mankind pleased God and open more doors of blessings for you. As a Christian and believer be nice and good to everyone because God is a generous God he gives liberally,to the good and evil. There is no discrimination in God.

Believers should emulate God, let your presence settle someone's problem, put smile on people's face, don't hold back when there is need to let go, don't discriminate in your kindness. When you do these, you will enjoy respect, peace,abundance of blessings, safety and more.
