(ESP / ENG) “GANA LA CARRERA” / "WIN THE RACE"

Un saludo a toda la comunidad de Heartchurch, hoy quiero compartir con todos ustedes esta reflexión: “GANA LA CARRERA”.

¿No sabéis que los que corren en el estadio, todos a la verdad corren, pero uno solo se lleva el premio? Corred de tal manera que lo obtengáis.

1 Corintios 9:24.

En aquella época, los Corintios participan en las carreras de sus propios juegos ístmicos, que se celebraban cada 2 años y eran tan importantes como los juegos olímpicos. El ganador se llevaba una guirnalda.

Cuando uno participa en una competencia, desea ganar y obtener el título. Los competidores profesionales de atletismo se preparan al máximo y deben ser disciplinados para participar en las competencias y ganar.

Pablo compara la vida del creyente como una carrera, donde participamos todos los hijos de Dios, y debemos correr de tal manera que obtengamos el premio. Como cristianos debemos ser disciplinados y evitar aquellas cosas que no le agradan a Dios.

Así como el atleta tiene que evitar ciertas comidas y cumplir ciertas reglas, el cristiano debe evitar el pecado y ser obediente a la Palabra de Dios. En la carrera si se viola una regla el corredor queda eliminado, si tú eres desobediente y no sigue lo que Dios estableces, quedas eliminado.

Corramos la carrera de tal manera que obtengamos la vida eterna, seamos fieles al Señor y dejemos a un lado todo aquello que impide que corramos libremente la carrera. Si tienes un peso que no te deja correr, es necesario que quites ese peso de tu cuerpo. Aléjate del pecado y sigue el camino de Jesucristo.

Te invito a leer la Biblia, Orar, hablar de Cristo a otros y ser obediente, “GANA LA CARRERA”.

"WIN THE RACE"

Greetings to the entire Heartchurch community, today I want to share with all of you this reflection: “WIN THE RACE”.

Don't you know that those who run in the stadium really run, but only one gets the prize? Run in such a way that you get it.

1 Corinthians 9:24.

At that time, the Corinthians raced their own Isthmian games, which were held every 2 years and were as important as the Olympic games. The winner wore a garland.

When you participate in a competition, you want to win and get the title. Professional athletic competitors prepare to the fullest and must be disciplined to enter competitions and win.

Paul compares the life of the believer as a race, where all the children of God participate, and we must run in such a way that we obtain the prize. As Christians we must be disciplined and avoid those things that do not please God.

Just as the athlete must avoid certain foods and adhere to certain rules, the Christian must avoid sin and be obedient to God's Word. In the race, if a rule is violated, the runner is eliminated, if you are disobedient and do not follow what God establishes, you are eliminated.

Let us run the race in such a way that we obtain eternal life, let us be faithful to the Lord and put aside everything that prevents us from running the race freely. If you have a weight that does not allow you to run, you need to remove that weight from your body. Turn away from sin and follow the path of Jesus Christ.
