Devotional: Those who wait in God will have new strength
I am one of the people who gets irritated when they have to wait a long time. Being in the waiting room makes me desperate. I become very restless, very gritty and I want things to happen quickly. However, the word of God teaches that we have to learn to wait on the Lord so that new forces can come into our lives that allow us to have enough patience to achieve the objective or goal of life.
I share this biblical text that is very encouraging in times of waiting: “but those who wait for Jehovah will have new strength; they will lift wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary; they will walk and not grow weary.

You have to know how to be in the “waiting room” and understand that God will reward those who wait in Him with new strength, which will allow them to raise wings for new life projects and guarantees that no matter how long the waiting time may be, We will have the ability not to get exhausted and tired, but we will be worshiping God in all that time of waiting until God brings the execution time of his promise.
Now, when I have to wait for something, I am encouraged by the life of the father of faith, "Abraham", who had to wait 25 years for God to fulfill the promise of the son with whom he would have a powerful nation on earth, which today is the people of Israel.
This is a great example of waiting. We have to strengthen ourselves in faith and do like Abraham, who while waiting for God's promise, dedicated himself to building an altar of worship to God and thus found strength and motivation to wait for the time of the fulfillment of the promise.
If we learn to wait on God, we will certainly receive strength from the Lord until we reach our goal.
