Study The Word.
2 Timothy 2:15 (NIV)
Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.
A lot has been said about how we are moving away from the ways of truth in God's Word and trying to rationalize everything so we can feel good with ourselves. Our conscience and even the Spirit of God always tell us it is wrong but we somehow try to circumvent the ways of God to make ourselves feel good and justified. The truth is, there is no alternative to the Word of God. You are either wrong or you are right. There is no in-between.
Most of the time we have people teach the Word of God without depth and understanding. The Bible clearly says that by their fruits we shall know them but most people find it hard to study the Word of God by themselves so they just accept just about anything that is being preached so they can at least 'fulfil all righteousness' even though they are being fed erroneously.
We often say our busy schedules and the pressure of life has given us not too much time to study God's Word. There is never an excuse that would sound right because when we truly love God, we would always find time to hear from Him and read from Him. We will take advantage of every time we have to know better. Those who know better do better.
Ephesians 4:14 (NIV)
Then we will no longer be infants, tossed back and forth by the waves, and blown here and there by every wind of teaching and by the cunning and craftiness of people in their deceitful scheming.
God expects us to grow in Him and come into maturity. He doesn't expect us to be on the same spot for too long by being fed the Word of God. We should study the Word for ourselves too. God understands that the moment we accept Jesus as our Lord and Saviour, we would need help in understanding some hidden truth which is why it is important to be in a local assembly that teaches God's Word and also the Holy Spirit is there to help and guide us into all truths. The sad thing is, many people have relegated the voice of the Holy Spirit in their minds and they have stopped hearing.
There are stages of maturity as with a baby as well. There would be a time you would feed the baby liquid before the baby grows into taking a bit of solid, before the baby starts sitting, then crawling then trying to walk before the baby perfects it and also starts eating almost every food. The sad thing is, most Christians are still being fed with the milk of the Word of God without coming into maturity. How would you feel if you keep feeding your baby milk and there is no significant improvement? It can be frustrating.
God wants us to come into the understanding of His Word by studying His Word and not just wait to get fed by erroneous teachings. Study the Word of God, ask questions, seek answers, leverage on the help of the Holy Spirit and don't stay a baby Christian for life. Grow into maturity.
Study the Word, stay at it, digest the Word as you try to internalize and visualize what you are reading - it's called meditation. Meditate on the Word of God often.

Studying of God's world should be a constant routine in developing a personal relationship with God because that's the way we can get to understand God's mindset concerning our life and destiny. Thank you for the inspiring piece @olawalium.

Knowledge is priceless treasure. Every human being has more or less knowledge. Allah Almighty has created us to worship. But if we can use these knowledge well then Allah Almighty will be satisfied. And if we can acquire knowledge in a good way then Allah Almighty This life given by Allah will be successful for us.
