Prayer and Faith.
Hebrews 11:6 (NIV)
And without faith it is impossible to please God, because anyone who comes to him must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who earnestly seek him.
It is not about what a man can achieve. If you can achieve it yourself, why pray for it? We pray in hope even when we have no idea of how it would happen. It takes a very strange level of believing for us to move God. Most of the times we pray for the things we can achieve with our own strength. That is not what God wants us to pray about.
The working of faith is not based on you. It is not about what you can achieve with your own strengths. There are times God will ask you to do your path and sometimes God goes all the way. It is hard to know what you believe unless you are faced with a situation that would threaten you to speak against what you believed. A proof of faith is in what you speak.
The reality of a believer is stronger than what we are going through. Believing sounds cheap until you are faced with a difficult situation. Anyone can say that 'I believe' but if you want to stay in faith, stay in an environment that cultivates your faith. It is easier to draw someone from the well than to go inside to draw them out because you might both drown. Our company or association says a lot to strengthen or weaken our faith. You can't be like the world to save the world.
Mark 9:24 (NIV)
Immediately the boy’s father exclaimed, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!”
Believing is to accept the things you have no physical evidence to back up. The first place to start believing is from the place you first lost believing. God has something great for you but you have to believe. All the great possibilities that God has in store for you can only be unlocked by believing. You have to put in your own effort. A believe in God would drive you or stir up your actual capacity. Faith goes with work. God always do more than the efforts we put in but we need to put in the work and the faith.
Faith will make you stretch yourself because God has shown you a possibility that He has opened your eyes to see. It begins with a picture because you cannot feature in a future that you cannot picture. Faith doesn't create what your salary can achieve but what your potentials can achieve.
We pray when we know that our human nature cannot carry a divine vision. When you are walking in faith, you cannot be lazy in prayer. Believing should never make you lazy but it puts you on your toes. Those who have faith are always taking steps. No one knows you have faith in God until we see the steps and the things you can do.
The real faith in God is not tied to time. We have Abraham as an example, Hannah as a point of reference too with Elizabeth. They had faith in God and it wasn't on their own timing but God. Just when they thought Jesus came late for Lazarus, little did they know He was right on time. God's ways are not our ways and His thoughts are not our thoughts. A thousand years is like a day in His sight.
The goal of faith is that it creates a mental picture of what God wants to reveal. Faith in God is what reveals your true potentials.
Faith in God will help you to reveal your true potentials
Faith in God will drive you to be on your toes
Faith in God will drive you to pray more
Faith in God will make you honour Him.

I believe that praying is praising the Lord, I prefer to pray a good Our Father, and not say endless prayers ,or simply tell him that he is my father, what ails me.

Believing is not what we see in our optical eye but there is assurance that our prayers will be answered.
