The reason why some Christians find themselves fighting with the flesh is because they are not living the Word (James 1:22). The Word of God is very clear: you need to walk in the Spirit, and you will not fulfil the lusts or want of the flesh. Some Christians have been trying to execute the flesh for very long time to no advantage. God didn't tell us to crucify the flesh, it is because the flesh has been crucified already; it occurred at the very moment that you were born again. Galatians 5:24 says, “And they that are Christ’s have crucified the flesh with the affections and lusts.”

So, if you are still there struggling with the flesh, you need to stop; all that you need is tp act on the Word of God; walk in accordance, according to the life and nature of God that lives inside your spirit. 1 John 1:7 ask us to walk in the light of God, as God is in the light; in another words, walk in the light of the provisions of God for you in Christ, as shown in the Word. For instance, Romans 6:14 says, “because sin shall not have power over you…” ; so, if you discover that you are struggling with a bad habit, don’t be frustrated! Use the Word.

Concur that “you are the holiness of God in Lord Jesus Christ; sin didn't have power over me. I reject to be confuse by any control wheel of bondage. I put an end to all bad habit, in the name of Lord Jesus Christ.” Make this declaration and begin to walk in its light, and sin shall not be superior over you. Hallelujah!
