THERE IS FREEDOM IN CHRIST

It is sin that brought all the trouble that man suffers in this world today. Through Jesus Christ, every child of God is saved from the penalty of the sins he committed in the past. After he is saved, sin is still in this world, and he is not yet taken from the world. Therefore, he needs to be saved daily from the power of sin. When one is saved from the power of sin, he will also be free from the troubles that come through sin in the world.
Many people who claim to be saved are still struggling with sin daily. Some of them, their experience is best described by Rom. 7:15-25, such people have met the requirement in 1 Jn. 1:8-9, but they forget what the Bible says of all true believers in Rom. 6:14. If the salvation of God cannot keep you from sinning, then it is not worth it. And so, you cannot be sure that it can take you to heaven at last.
To have daily freedom from sin:
a. You must surrender yourself completely to God; Rom. 6:11-14.
b. You must set enough time daily for prayers, worship and meditation in the Word of God.
c. You must put to death all sinful desires in your life. When sin is kept from reigning in your body, sickness, satan and evil forces will be under your control.
d. Another thing that will help you to enjoy daily freedom from sin is yielding to the leading and working of the Holy Spirit.
e. You must be a witnessing Christian wherever you are.
