The Glory of the Future
Psalms 102:15-17; So the heathen shall fear the name of the Lord, and all the kings of the earth thy glory. When the Lord shall build up Zion, he shall appear in his glory. He will regard the prayer of the destitute, and not despise their prayer.
The Mount of Zion has always been regard as a Holy Place where the Lord dwells in his holiness and glory. It is considered the City of David with great security and protection, basically a fortress that is impenetrable. It also stands in for the City of Jerusalem, God city for his people where they dwell and shine in the light and glory and sons and daughters of the most high.
This is an epitome of what the future of the church holds or stands for. The a wonderful life ahead of us as sons and daughters of the most high, a place where we will have absolute protection and never have to worry or fear for anything ever again. This we will experience in our life and in the afterlife if and when we continue to abide by the word of God and do what is right by the Spirit.
The journey to this future may not be as smooth and easy as we may perceive initially, but if we remember to be resilient and stay the course then we can have this wonderful future. It is the same thing i see for the first church of the blockchain. We have come far, over rocky hill and deep valleys and through treacherous mountains we have reached where we are the future looks even more and more brighter now. All because we persevered. So Brethren, i admonish you today to keep up in the ways of the Lord and you will surely reach the City of David.
