Theological Virtues

• Faith

  This wonderful theological virtue is present when we believe in God and in his Word. By faith the believer accepts and proclaims Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior, placing him at the center of his life; By faith, the Christian seeks the Word and strives to do and respect the will of God. Those who have faith constantly strive to always follow the path of truth, good and justice (Rom 1, 17), a path that can only be inspired by God who is holy (Lev 11:44).

  The followers of Christ are not only called to treasure the faith, they are also called to profess it, to bear witness to it with dedication and fidelity. Faith and works must always go hand in hand (St 2, 26), by faith the human soul is predisposed to do good, but it is by acting that good intention becomes a fact that makes a difference and that we become instruments of grace. Finally, the Apostle Paul, a man full of the Holy Spirit, leaves us with a maxim that expresses, in a few words, the uniqueness of the beautiful mystery of faith: "faith is the guarantee of what is expected, the certainty of what is not expected. it is seen "(Hebrews 11: 1).

• La fe

  Esta maravillosa virtud teologal se hace presente cuando creemos en Dios y en Su Palabra. Por fe el creyente acepta y proclama a Jesucristo como su Señor y Salvador, colándolo en el centro de su vida; por fe, el cristiano busca de la Palabra y se esmera en hacer y respetar la voluntad de Dios. El que tiene fe se esfuerza constantemente por seguir siempre el camino de la verdad, del bien y de la justicia (Rm 1, 17), camino que sólo puede ser inspirado por Dios que es santo (Lv 11, 44).

  Los seguidores de Cristo no sólo están llamados a atesorar la fe, también lo están a profesarla, a dar testimonio de ella con entrega y fidelidad. La fe y las obras deben ir siempre de la mano (St 2, 26), por fe el alma humana se predispone a hacer el bien, pero es al obrar cuando la buena intención se convierte en un hecho que hace la diferencia y que nos convierte en instrumentos de la gracia. Finalmente, el apóstol Pablo, hombre lleno del Espíritu Santo, nos deja una máxima que expresa, en pocas palabras, la singularidad del hermoso misterio de la fe: "la fe es la garantía de lo que se espera, la certeza de lo que no se ve" (Hebreos 11, 1).
