Believe that in God you can have prosperity and much more

If the Lord does not build the house,
Those who build it labor in vain;
If the Lord does not guard the city,
The guard watches in vain.
2 It is for nothing that you get up early in the morning, and go late to rest,
And that you eat bread of sorrows;
Well, God will give sleep to her beloved.
3 Behold, sons are the inheritance of the Lord;
A thing of esteem the fruit of the womb.
4 Like arrows in the hand of the mighty,
So are children of youth.
5 Blessed is the man who filled his quiver with them;
Will not be ashamed
When I speak to the enemies at the door. Psalms 127 Reina-Valera 1960 (RVR1960)

When we review Psalm 127 we realize that prosperity comes exclusively from God.

That you are a man or a woman with a good social position, an entrepreneur, or that you have a beautiful home with well-educated children and that perhaps, you do not lack any good, does not mean that all this is due to your abilities, intelligence, wisdom or qualities or attributes. The word teaches us that if Jehovah does not build the house, those who build it work in vain. In other words, no matter how hard we work to do things, the one who ends up giving the go-ahead is God and the one who ends up prospering and giving the blessing is God.

A city can have a lot of surveillance or security, however, the one who allows everything to be kept in peace and quiet is our God.

In the same way, however much a Christian gets up early in seeking God's presence and spends time with the Lord, it does not imply that by his prolonged search he is already blessed. It is that God is directly responsible for blessing his people and that prosperity comes only from God.

We all take from his grace and it is by his grace that we are blessed in Christ.

The Lord prospers us both spiritually and materially. Material blessings are temporary, however spiritual blessings are for eternity.

We can temporarily enjoy material goods, because God's purpose is that we have no lack of anything, what we must avoid is that material blessings separate us from God's love.

The more blessings we have from God, the greater should be our search for the Father and serve him from the heart, not so much because he gives us material things, but because we really love him.
