The advices

There are people who have a great ability to advise other people, they always have advice to give; as long as there are advisable people, that is, they can be advised.

Proverbs 15:22 “thoughts are frustrated where there is no advice; more in the multitude of advisers they affirm themselves ”.

Certainly in life we must make many decisions and it is good if before doing so or taking the step we approach to ask for advice from someone we know is qualified to do so, perhaps from the mother, father, close relative, pastor, deacon; whom you consider best and feel confident.

The book of Proverbs has a lot to say about advice and the value of wise advice. With this I understand that there are people who are not suitable to advise.

The most important advice to make any decision we receive from the Lord, whatever the circumstance, we must always go first to God to receive his advice.

In doing so we are going directly to the wellspring of all wisdom. The bible is widely regarded as a mother counselor, since the mother always has good advice for her children; as the Bible goes beyond any mother, she makes advice wonderful and enhances wisdom.

Proverbs 20: 5 “Like deep waters is counsel in the heart of man; But the man of understanding will be reached".

The man of understanding seeks counsel first from God, and on certain occasions when approaching other people he must examine the lifestyle of the person from whom he hopes to receive counsel. If this person is God-fearing, then he is wise.

As children of God, it is very important that we know how that person's relationship with the Lord is, considering his moral and spiritual performance of the person from whom he will ask for advice or advice, especially if it is a decision related to his future or his family .
But the first thing is to consult God as he advised King Jehoshaphat and he said to Ahab the king of Israel "I beg you to consult the word of Jehovah today."

so many of us so called Christians have got it all wrong in this very aspect, we tend to always go to an unbeliever to seek for counsel and when at the end we fail we start putting the blame on God for not being there for you. which is not to be so.. i pray God open our minds to see clearly. thanks for sharing
