Primero que nada Saludarle y desearles que tenga un feliz maravilloso día a todas las personas. Felicitar a todos y todas los integrantes de esta ilustre comunidad cristiana e invitarles para que todos juntos nos coloquemos en comunión con nuestro padre celestial.
El Buen Samaritano es la historia de un hombre que fue robado y golpeado y dejado por muerto. Mientras yace aferrado a la vida, varias personas de los grupos étnicos y comunidades prominentes que deciden no ayudarlo lo pasan por alto. Finalmente, un samaritano que no es tan prominente y tiene una visión religiosa diferente le ayuda.
Y he aquí, un abogado se levantó para ponerlo a prueba, diciendo: "Maestro, ¿qué haré para heredar la vida eterna? (Lucas 10:25) Jesús le preguntó qué estaba escrito en la ley, y el hombre respondió: "Amarás al Señor tu Dios con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma y con todas tus fuerzas y con toda tu mente, y a tu prójimo como a ti mismo". (Lucas 10:27)
Presionando aún más, el abogado le preguntó a Jesús: "¿Quién es mi prójimo? En forma de parábola, Jesús habló de un hombre que descendía de Jerusalén a Jericó.
Los ladrones lo atacaron, le quitaron sus pertenencias y ropa, lo golpearon y lo dejaron medio muerto. Un sacerdote bajó por la calle, vio al herido y lo pasó al otro lado. Un levita que pasaba por allí hizo lo mismo. Un samaritano, de una raza odiada por los judíos, vio al hombre herido y tuvo compasión de él. Vertió aceite y vino sobre sus heridas, las ató y luego puso al hombre sobre su burro.
El samaritano lo llevó a una posada y lo cuidó.
A la mañana siguiente, el samaritano le dio dos denarios al posadero para que lo cuidara y le prometió que le pagaría en el camino de regreso por cualquier otro gasto. Jesús le preguntó al abogado cuál de los tres hombres había sido vecino. El abogado respondió que el hombre que mostró misericordia era un vecino. Jesús le dijo: "Ve y haz lo mismo". (Lucas 10:37) la parábola identifica al samaritano con Cristo, despreciado y rechazado por otros, y al viajero herido como toda persona, incapaz de rescatarse a sí misma sino por el amor y la gracia de un Salvador.
¿Quién era el prójimo en esta parábola? Es el que los judíos odiaban y los samaritanos que odiaban a los judíos fueron ayudados por uno que era odiado por ellos; el samaritano. Nuestro vecino no se refiere a nuestros vecinos de al lado. Podría significar que el extraño al que le das una mano, la persona a la que le das una palabra de aliento, el que te odia debe ser la persona por la que oras.

The Good Samaritan is the story of a man who was robbed and beaten and left for dead. As he lies clinging to life, he is overlooked by various people from prominent ethnic groups and communities who choose not to help him. Finally, a Samaritan who is not so prominent and has a different religious vision helps him.
And behold, a lawyer got up to put him to the test, saying: "Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life? (Luke 10:25) Jesus asked him what was written in the law, and the man replied:" You will love to the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind, and to your neighbor as yourself. "(Luke 10:27) Pressing further, the lawyer asked Jesus, "Who is my neighbor? In parable form, Jesus spoke of a man coming down from Jerusalem to Jericho.
The thieves attacked him, took his belongings and clothes, beat him and left him half dead. A priest came down the street, saw the wounded man and passed him to the other side. A passing Levite did the same. A Samaritan, of a race hated by the Jews, saw the wounded man and had compassion on him. He poured oil and wine on his wounds, tied them up, and then put the man on his donkey.
The Samaritan took him to an inn and looked after him. The next morning, the Samaritan gave the innkeeper two denarii to take care of him and promised that he would pay him on the way back for any other expenses. Jesus asked the lawyer which of the three men had been a neighbor. The lawyer replied that the man who showed mercy was a neighbor. Jesus said, "Go and do the same." (Luke 10:37) The parable identifies the Samaritan with Christ, despised and rejected by others, and the wounded traveler like everyone else, unable to rescue himself except by the love and grace of a Savior.
Who was the neighbor in this parable? It is the one that the Jews hated and the Samaritans who hated the Jews were helped by one who was hated by them; the Samaritan. Our neighbor is not referring to our next door neighbors. It could mean that the stranger you give a hand to, the person you give an encouraging word, the one who hates you must be the person you pray for.
