Whenever I read this portion of the Bible, my heart is comforted knowing that God has wonderful and special plans for my life.

One thing is what I personally plan and another thing is what God has purposed to do with me. God's plans are perfect and they always have interesting things for our lives. Perhaps, at first, we do not understand what God is doing with us, but what is certain is that in the end everything will work out for our good.

When I read this word from Psalm 138: 8, I remember the life of young Joseph, son of Jacob, the dreaming boy, who aroused envy among his own brothers, who ended up selling him as a slave for Egypt. However, God's purpose was well defined for Joseph, despite going through painful situations, God had a big plan for him.

Young Joseph became the second most important man in Egypt after Pharaoh. Joseph became the governor of Egypt and God used him to save many starving people, including his own family.

Becoming governor of Egypt sounds easy, but the process that Joseph went through was painful, but he remained in the presence of God and waited patiently for each stage of God's purpose for him to be fulfilled.

Joseph always lived in the presence of God and kept fulfilling God's plan until it was time for God to move him from one level of faith to another, from one level of life to another, and from one level of prosperity to a higher level. of spirituality success.

Joseph never doubted God's purpose for his life, but the greater the trial and suffering, the greater his degree of intimacy with God.
