Como niños - Like childdrem
Cuando medito en la importancia que Jesucristo les dio a las cualidades de los niños no puedo evitar observar a mi hija de dos años, las cosas que hace e intentar ver cuales son esas características que debo imitar de ella sin las cuales no podre heredar el Reino de los Cielos.
Podríamos pensar que es la inocencia, el no tener malicia pero yo creo que es eso y mucho mas, al menos es lo que he observado y quiero compartir hoy contigo.!
Alegría
Aquí no solo me baso en las observaciones de mi hija sino en experiencias propias, memorias que aun atesoro de mi infancia, un niño siempre esta buscando razones para ser feliz, para sonreír. Si llora o se pone triste eso no le dura mucho, están tan llenos de energía que no tienen tiempo para sentarse a llorar por largas horas. (En esto debemos ser como niños)
Ellos inventan historias y juegos para divertirse, nunca están pensando en el mañana, incluso no piensan en que comerán, si hay o falta, están confiados que los padres van a proveer el alimento y confían tanto que ni siquiera se molestan en preguntar cuanta comida queda en la nevera. (En esto debemos ser como niños)
No guardan rencor, se molestan pero olvidan con rapidez y en pocas horas actúan como si aquello nunca hubiera pasado. (En esto debemos ser como niños)
Si se ven en apuros, amenazados o en problemas que saben que no podrán resolver inmediatamente acuden a sus padres con toda confianza que ellos si lo resolverán, un niño cree que sus padres lo pueden todo. (En esto debemos ser como niños).
Ellos tienen una imaginación activa y creerán todo lo que les digas, incluso podría decir que para ellos la mentira no existe, lo creen todo. (En esto debemos ser como niños).
Crecer nos hace daño
Siendo niños realmente somos libres y entendemos el verdadero concepto de felicidad, sin importar la circunstancia en la que estemos, puedo decirte que mi niñez fue sin juguetes, sin un padre, con una dura situación económica, pero yo nunca note nada de eso, han sido los días mas felices de mi vida.
Luego vamos a la escuela y a medida que crecemos formamos parte del sistema, nuestra mente se transforma y dejamos de ser niños, no digo que actuemos como tal pero tampoco debemos perder esas cualidades que he mencionado, no para con nuestro Padre celestial.
Porque cuando abandonamos esas cualidades nos llenamos de miedo, duda, inseguridad, soberbia y toda clase de cosas que nos alejan de Dios y nos encierran en una vida llena de infelicidad.
Seamos como niños en esos aspectos y adultos en el asumir nuestras responsabilidades.
ENGLISH
When I meditate on the importance that Jesus Christ gave to the qualities of children I cannot help but observe my two year old daughter, the things she does and try to see what are those characteristics that I must imitate from her without which I will not be able to inherit the Kingdom of Heaven.
We might think it is innocence, not having malice but I think it is that and much more, at least that's what I have observed and I want to share with you today!!!!
Joy
Here I not only rely on my daughter's observations but on my own experiences, memories that I still treasure from my childhood, a child is always looking for reasons to be happy, to smile. If they cry or get sad it doesn't last long, they are so full of energy that they don't have time to sit and cry for long hours. (In this we must be like children)
They make up stories and games to amuse themselves, they are never thinking about tomorrow, they don't even think about what they will eat, if there is any or lack of it, they are confident that the parents will provide the food and they trust so much that they don't even bother to ask how much food is left in the fridge. (We should be like children in this)
They don't hold grudges, they get upset but forget quickly and within a few hours act as if it never happened. (In this we should be like children)
If they are in trouble, threatened or in problems that they know they will not be able to solve immediately, they go to their parents with confidence that they will solve it, a child believes that their parents can do everything. (In this we must be like children).
They have an active imagination and will believe everything you tell them, I could even say that for them lies do not exist, they believe everything. (In this we must be like children).
Growing up hurts us
Being children we really are free and we understand the true concept of happiness, no matter what circumstance we are in, I can tell you that my childhood was without toys, without a father, with a hard economic situation, but I never noticed any of that, they have been the happiest days of my life.
Then we go to school and as we grow up we become part of the system, our mind is transformed and we stop being children, I am not saying that we act like children but we should not lose those qualities that I have mentioned, not to our heavenly Father.
Because when we abandon those qualities we are filled with fear, doubt, insecurity, pride and all kinds of things that take us away from God and lock us in a life full of unhappiness.
Let us be like children in those aspects and adults in assuming our responsibilities.
