2 Timothy 2 21 Therefore, if anyone cleanses himself of these things, he is an instrument to honor, sanctified, useful to the Lord, and will be ready for every good work.

God longs for us to accept the salvation that He offers us through Jesus, that we can live under His statutes and ordinances in love, not out of obligation, because it is impossible for He who knows Him not to love Him, because He calls us with bonds of love .

But God also wants that after we are transformed we are help for others too, that's why we must allow ourselves to be used as instruments of God. But we must also allow ourselves to be transformed, to be worthy workers, and above all to be ready for any work, without making excuses.

But we must fulfill a great requirement that is to be cleansed and of course God can do it, but we must allow it. That's why the Bible says if someone cleans himself, it's not that God can't do it, but it also depends on how much we allow him to do.

If we let God act first in us, transforming us, then God will be able to use us as instruments and we will be useful for the gospel of Jesus Christ.

Being instruments of honor and sanctification speaks of the fact that we have been transformed by God, therefore this gives testimony of ourselves, this implies having the support of our God, his Holy Spirit will put the words in our mouth so that we can be useful, he will guide our steps to reach the right places at the right time.

Let us first work on ourselves together with God, so that later we can be used to transform the lives of others.

So it is clear that here we can emphasize a cleaning that depends not only on God but also on us, it could be said that a kind of self-cleaning, that is why we must make an effort every day to achieve personal change, be better every day and cleanse ourselves of everything that prevents us from trusting in God and acting as He wishes.
