A Calm Heart
In today's world it is not easy at all to live peacefully, calmly and quietly, but it is important that we learn to do so, first for a very important reason which is our communication with God, we can only listen to God, or let ourselves be guided by his Holy Spirit when our heart is calm.
Why? Because no agitated heart would ever hear the voice of God. The heart that is not calm is usually then disturbed or burdened, and there it is impossible for God to act, because even if God spoke or directs you, you would never listen to him, since your attention is elsewhere.
The calm heart will always be receptive, attentive, with great susceptibility to what can make it grow. Although adversities appear, he will not be moved because he is trusting in God.
Proverbs 14
30 A peaceful heart is the life of the flesh; But envy rots the bones.
If our heart is calm, our body will be healthy. It is not about living carefree but rather living with confidence, who whose heart is trusting in God will always be at peace, since it is that trust and that faith in God that allows them to live that way.
If we begin to live confidently, we will begin to notice the tranquility and peace in our life, that which only God can give, then it is time to stop worrying and begin to have confidence in who we have believed, to mold our heart to his and then We will enjoy the peace and tranquility that only God can give.
If our heart is quiet then God will be able to act on our behalf, we will be able to clearly understand what his purpose is for us and listen to him to always obey him.
