GOD DOES NOT WANT US TO SERVE HIM WITH ANY FORM OF RESERVATION.

God does not want us to serve Him with any form of reservation. Taking a clue from the life of David; when he proclaimed in Psalm 103:1 “Bless the LORD, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless His holy name”: It has to be with everything that is within you. in the words of the song writer –

“Were the whole realm of nature mine, an offering far too small. Love so amazing, so divine; demands my soul, my life, my all”.

You have to be seen to be completely sold out to God. the measure with which you mete; with that same measure; it shall be meted unto you. God cannot be mocked; to the faithful, God will show Himself faithful: But if you choose to be crafty, you will not really be able to enjoy God in all His fullness. Ananias and Sapphira chose to be crafty with God and it didn’t augur well for them at all. You shall seek God and find Him, when you search for Him with your whole heart. It is not a matter of what you feel you are doing for God; are you doing it with your whole heart?

Reward comes when it is being done with all you are and all you have: For

“thou shalt love the LORD thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might” (Deuteronomy 6:5).

The Bible talks of a certain merchant who went seeking goodly pearls:

“When he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had, and bought it” (Matthew 13:46).

He placed so much value on this one goodly pearl; that, he went and sold all that he had to acquire it. What is your value placement on God and His service? Do you see God and His service as the ultimate? If you do, you will give it your whole being.

The Psalmist proclaimed in Psalm 63:3 – “Thy loving kindness is better than life”. Being sold out completely to God is getting to love Him more than life itself. Like Apostle Paul declared – “For me to live is Christ, and to die is gain” (Philippians 1:21). It is a situation where your will gets lost in the will of the God Whose you are and Whom you serve. Not really what you have resolved to do; but, what He has resolved for you to do. Like Jesus cried in the garden of Gethsemane –

_“Nevertheless not what I will, but what Thou wilt” (Mark 14:36)._Jesus was completely sold out to doing the will of the Father and He is today sitteth upon the highest pinnacle of heavenly glory. As you stay completely sold out to God in love and in service; of the increase of your glory, there shall be no end.
